Create greenery by planting small plants at home & outside

“We all moan and groan about the loss of quality of life through the destruction of our ecology, and yet every one of us, in our own little comfortable ways, contributes daily to that destruction. It’s now time to awaken in each one of us the respect and attention our beloved mother deserves”
-Ed Asner, actor

“He that planteth a tree is a servant of God, he provideth a kindness for many generations, and faces that he hath not seen shall bless him.”
-Henry Van Dyke

Read the above two quotes carefully and you will realize the importance of planting a tree.

If you analyze your day to day activities then you will feel the truth which underlay this statement. It’s high time when we realize the fact that without our contribution our mother earth will be destroyed and in order to save our planet as well as make the life of future generation worth living we have to make little efforts from our side so that they can live happily and enjoy the gifts of the Mother Nature.

Most of the times if we observe our day to day activities we will notice the fact that we do a lot of things daily which affect our environment in way or the other. For your reference I would like to quote instances from your daily routine which would make you feel the same. They are as follows:

Use of individual vehicle for each member leads to depletion of fuel as well as adds toxic gases to the atmosphere
Use of refrigerators and air conditioners releases CFCs which are harmful to the environment.
The unnecessary switching on and off of electricity

Apart from these there are various factors which contribute to depletion of environment and by making small efforts we can save our planet.

Amongst all these factors which help save our environment one is planting trees. As they say “drop by drop fills the tub” so if you contribute your share it’s going to make a lot of change and can save your planet. And the activity of maintaining greenery is not a tough one. If you can’t plant a big tree then planting small trees inside your house premises will do the job.

A few ways in which trees help you are:

They purify the air we breathe in
They contribute a great deal and help reducing the problem of global warming to some extent as they help maintain the temperature and are also responsible for rain.
They also act as purifiers for the air which is polluted by us.
The also act as shelter for birds, insects, bees and many such organisms.
They are an important factor which prevent soil erosion and also avoid soil pollution
They also absorb the excessive noise
The most important of all they fulfill our basic need of food.

There are many other factors for which trees should be planted. So you should promise yourself to at least plant a tree once a year. Also you can help others plant trees as follows:

Make them aware of the benefits of planting trees and give them the necessary references from where they can get the trees.
Gift them a small sapling so that they can plant it.
Make clubs which instill in every individual the benefits of planting trees.

If we all think in terms of saving our planet then it would be not difficult to survive, instead we would all be happy and cherish the gifts of Mother Nature…

“To keep your mind stress free Just plant a tree…
The blessings of elders and youngsters will begin to shower Once the tree you plant bears a beautiful flower….”

by taking necessary action and informing others about it.
